  • ASTONENERGY is included at 50% in this mixture due to its excellent digestibility and palatability; it is the best performing variety in Teagasc feeding trials at Moorepark over the last 4 years with the best milk yield and palatability.
  • GLENVEAGH is the best performing variety for ground cover and persistence and will protect the other varieties in the sward
  • Good spring growth from TYRELLA
  • CRUSADER is the best clover for grazing swards and can tolerate tight grazing. It is included at 1kg to take advantage of positive results from Teagasc trials looking at responses to clover even with high Nitrogen applications

Designed for wet, peaty and heavy textured soils

This is an ideal mixture for farms with stocking rates of 2 livestock units per hectare or less.
